A Statement from Johnathan Buma Calling for FBI Director Christopher Wray's Resignation
"Director Wray should resign"
Johnathan Buma has released a statement following the raid this week, which is as follows:
I’m back up and running f 👍
All they got was a copy of my original whistleblower complaint and my disclosures to Congress, which they already had and ignored and was nothing more than confidential. They also took my own personnel file, which was confidential and had been abandoned at the bottom of a file cabinet by my previous SSAs in her office when she took a promotion to IOD (which, oddly, used to be my own office when I was SSA).
When that file documenting 13 years of consecutive excellent and outstanding an usual performance reviews from several supervisors both when I was an SSA and an SA, which was suppressed, cast aside and covered over with only negative reports the past two years since my whistleblower complaint, in an effort to blackball and retaliate, simply because my honest reporting was not consistent with their false politically influenced narrative.
This stunt makes them look very bad, which does not make me happy. My whole family was traumatized when they came into my home with the key I gave them while I was already on pocket and still used guns, bricks a door and scared the bell out of my family and hung me out to dry on my front doorstep for six hours, never allowed into the warmth of my own home, a courtesy I’ve afforded hardened “criminals” of my own cases. My wife and kids were left with no computers to do their work, and I had to go spend 2k and two whole days re building.
My goal is to restore integrity and accountability to management, and every time they double down in the tone deaf thuggery behavior, it just makes them look worse for them. Director Wray should resign. The Bureau needs a real leader to nurse the employees back to a better morale.

Mr. Everett Stern, in the private messages he published yesterday, also published Buma’s code name, which goes to show, not to mention the various other problems, that he’s not really a professional.
What’s going on here is the heavily politicized upper class at the FBI and DOJ will not do the right thing when it comes to the Israelis for various corrupt reasons—either they want to get paid off by Israeli security contractors, want to get good press from Israeli assets in the media, they want to be invited to speak at Israeli-aligned think tanks like FDD, AEI and Hudson, and so forth. Or worse, they’re afraid of what the Israelis might do to them.
Virtually none of the bad behavior that the Israelis do here is ever discussed, let alone prosecuted. If you talk about it, you get blacklisted, even though it’s right there in courtrooms. If you take a look at the sentencing up in New York today of Israeli Aviram Azari, you can see a glimpse of the true face of the Israeli cybersecurity industry, and some of the ways they target Americans. From the SDNY:
From approximately November 2014 to September 2019, AZARI engaged in an extensive spearphishing campaign that targeted individuals and companies in the U. S. and around the globe. AZARI owned and operated an Israeli intelligence firm. Clients hired AZARI to manage “Projects” that were described as intelligence gathering efforts but were, in fact, hacking campaigns specifically targeting certain groups of victims, including climate change activists and individuals and financial firms that had been a critical part of the German payment processing company Wirecard A.G. AZARI paid different hacking groups, including a particular group located in India, to send spearphishing emails to victims of the various Projects. The hacking groups updated AZARI on their progress, including sending him lists that tracked their hacking efforts against specific victims. The hackers also sent AZARI reports, advising when they were successful in accessing victims’ accounts and stealing information.
One of AZARI’s hacking Projects was focused on targeting individuals and organizations involved with climate change advocacy. Some of the hacked documents that were stolen from various of the victims’ online accounts were leaked to the press, resulting in articles relating to the New York and Massachusetts Attorneys Generals’ investigations into Exxon Mobil Corporation’s knowledge about climate change and potential misstatements made by Exxon regarding what it knew about the risks of climate change.
Clients of AZARI’s Israeli private intelligence company paid AZARI more than approximately $4.8 million over a nearly five-year period for managing the intelligence gathering and spearphishing campaign. AZARI executed his crimes deliberately and over an extended period primarily for his own self-enrichment. Some of AZARI’s thousands of victims have described the devastating personal, financial, and reputational impact AZARI’s crimes had on them. Victims have described the persistent and relentless targeting of them and their associates, as well as the theft of their identities and personal data, as “psychological assault” that has caused them “anxiety, paranoia, depression, sleeplessness, and fear,” and the victims have expressed continued concerns for their personal safety.
This is the sort of thing Rod Rosenstein, Steptoe, and NSO’s American advocates want to bring here and institutionalize. To your family. To your children.
There are other troubling cases here that haven’t gotten an acceptable look from the FBI, like the Lyndon McLeod case, a man who seems to have been close to Claremont-aligned Israeli assets Jack Murphy and the Bronze Age Pervert, who murdered five people in Colorado a few years ago. This kind of stuff is the true underbelly of Israeli activity here in the United States.
The American people do not consider this acceptable, and the FBI ought to be working in their interests, rather than in the interests of Benjamin Netanyahu, who even today is on trial for corruption, and the Israel lobby. We are not Palestinians. We are not Uyghurs. We’re Americans, and we’re not going to be treated like this.
Director Wray worked at King and Spalding, which is where NSO Group advocate Rod Rosenstein went as well, and which does a lot of work for Trump allies.
Thanks for this. Is Buma still employed by the FBI ?
