I've Resigned from Project 2025

It isn't in America's interest to stand behind this conflict

I’ve resigned from Project 2025 this morning. I told Paul Dans it’s not in America’s interest to be standing behind Israel’s barbarism in Gaza.

Too many of Heritage's people are doing things in the same old way, and I have no confidence in the institution so long as they are doing so. It is also difficult to stand behind Trump, given the Israeli staffing problems in his first term, especially the mobster's son Jared Kushner, if he, and most of Heritage's foreign policy team, want this to continue.

Israel’s activities in the United States are also profoundly criminal, and it makes a mockery of conservative principles to look the other way at this deep lawlessness that threatens American national security.

It’s long past time to take a tough look at exactly how we want the U.S.-Israel relationship to be going forward, and all I see is the deepest cowardice at the moment. It makes me sick, and I don’t want anything to do with it.
