Jeffrey Epstein and the Apple Watches
They seem to be his favorite gift

Jeffrey Epstein’s favorite gift was Apple Watches. Some of the files are quotes prepared for his assistant for Apple Watch orders in the tens of thousands of dollars. The big quotes are from late 2018, about six months before his arrest in the federal case.
He was interested in this technology going back to 2013, where there’s an exchange with Mai-Li Hammargren, a Swedish entrepreneur and founder of Mutewatch. He didn’t buy or invest but he received a sample.
There were some early moves here, Woody Allen got one in October 2016, and Vitaly Churkin’s son in 2017 just after Trump took office.
It looks like Richard Kahn, his still-living executor, is aware of these mass gifts, because he was read in.
He seems to be giving them to people with the cognizance that they could be recording devices:
The flurry of buying in 2018 is the really striking thing. So who was he giving them to? Damn near all his employees and close associates. He wired up his whole operation.
Kahn got one as did his main lawyer Darren Indyke, his butlers Jojo Fontanella and Valdson Cotrin, his pilots David Rodgers and Larry Visoki, his Virgin Islands tax attorney Erika Kellerhals, his attorneys Kara Rockenbach and Steve Link, his criminal defense attorney Jack Goldberger, another one of his estate lawyers Bennet Moskowitz. His tech consultant James Ce, his doctor Harry Fisch, Jeanne Brennan, a person who is probably his house manager on the island Anna Rodriquez. Household employees Carluz and Arlene Toylo, one of his consultants Eric Roth.
In that batch, watches were also bought for the former First Lady of the Virgin Islands Cecile de Jongh, Harvard professor Martin Nowak, and Leon Black’s assistant Melanie Spinella. Kathy Ruemmler is already known.
Terje Rød-Larsen is cc’d on some of these watch orders, as is Eva Dubin and his tax preparer Alan Dlugash and Joscha Bach. Dlugash gave specifications for one. There are Steve and Sean Bannon in 2018. Dasha Burak.
Did Apple Watches replace the women he was procuring in his earlier career to keep tabs on the men? Not to be flippant, but in a certain way this is a less harmful method than what is alleged to be his previous one.
This is all happening about six months before his indictment, so the feds are probably closing in. Maybe he’s making sure he’ll be able to know if someone flips.
What makes sense here with the Leon Black piece is, as with Ehud Barak, he’s handling Black’s funds, probably on behalf of Mossad but under the watchful eye of, given the watches, at least the NSA. For various reasons of Israeli factional politics that’s not an arrangement that would work with Netanyahu back in power, so there’s a way this stuff fits with the notion that Epstein was a casualty of Israeli political realignments.
