Congressman Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, was supposed to give a deposition today over what he knew about the Ohio State wrestling abuse scandal.
In the meantime he’s going to bat with his committee chairmanship to protect the worst people in Israel. This comes on the heels of his unwillingness to call Special Agent Buma, the FBI whistleblower, as a witness despite being well read into the situation, and choosing to call the fake whistleblower Kyle Seraphin instead. We’re getting pretty close to three strikes here.
This memo from the committee staff is absolute nonsense, conducted by investigators who are either corrupt or don’t know what they’re doing, and it’s in service of an agenda that is bad for the U.S., bad for Israel, and bad for the U.S.-Israel relationship.
What it shows is U.S.-based donors were backing protests against Bibi’s judicial reform. We like that because it’s in the interest of the U.S. for Israel to be run from Yale Law School, instead of a bunch of inbred nutjobs living in West Bank settlements.
The memo doesn’t show taxpayer funds going to these protests at all, it shows DAF funds run by some of these institutions backing these things while some of them are also receiving taxpayer dollars.
What this actually is is the Likud network objecting to liberal Zionists putting money into Israeli politics. That’s something we actually want. We’re reaching the limits of the Likud network’s ability to fool people about this stuff.
